Ugandan singer Laika Music has sparked conversations among campus audiences after openly confessing her admiration for Pastor Isaac Rwomushana during a recent TV appearance.

While speaking on Flexx on Galaxy TV, Laika boldly revealed that she has a crush on the popular youth pastor, noting that she is naturally drawn to men in spiritual leadership.

“I am interested in pastors or prophets,” she said, singling out Pastor Isaac Rwomushana as someone she deeply admires.

Pastor Rwomushana is widely recognized among Uganda’s youth for his vibrant and relatable preaching style.

His teachings on relationships, purpose, and personal growth have earned him a strong following, especially on social media where many students and young people actively engage with his content.

Laika’s confession has since caught the attention of many campus circles, with students debating the intersection between faith, relationships, and celebrity influence.

When the conversation shifted to dating within the entertainment industry, Laika made it clear that DJs are off her list. She explained that her personality would make such a relationship difficult to sustain.

“I’m a very jealous woman, so I can’t stand it with deejays. I would feel bad seeing him talk to girls,” she admitted, despite acknowledging that DJs are generally “nice and cool people.”

Her remarks have since sparked mixed reactions online, with some students relating to her honesty about jealousy in relationships, while others found her preference for pastors surprising.

The revelation adds to the growing trend of Ugandan celebrities opening up about their personal lives, giving fans—especially those on campus—a closer look into the personalities behind the fame.
