Fik Gaza Frustrated as Sheebah Karungi Removes Collaboration from YouTube.
Ugandan singer Fik Gaza has expressed frustration after his highly anticipated collaboration with Sheebah Karungi was taken down from YouTube shortly after its release, sparking debate among fans and industry watchers.
According to Fik Gaza, the song had stayed unreleased for a long time despite both artists initially agreeing to wait for the “right moment” to drop it. However, the delay reportedly stretched longer than expected, creating tension around the project.
“I had just released my song with Sheebah and she removed it from my YouTube, so I still have that stress. They complained about it and it was removed,” Fik Gaza revealed.
The singer explained that he had already invested heavily in the project, and keeping it unreleased only increased pressure on him financially and professionally. With no clear release timeline in sight, he chose to move forward independently.
Feeling the need to recover his investment and maintain momentum in his career, Fik Gaza decided to release the track without Sheebah’s approval—a move that ultimately led to its removal from the platform.

“The project was theirs, they needed me and I also wanted it to help me somewhere, but they delayed to release it, so I did it,” he added.
The incident highlights ongoing challenges within Uganda’s music industry, particularly around collaboration agreements, ownership rights, and release strategies. For many upcoming artists, such disputes serve as a reminder of the importance of clear contracts and communication before investing in joint projects.
As fans await clarity on whether the collaboration will be officially released, the situation continues to generate buzz across social media, with many weighing in on who is in the right.
